We're now looking for a Brand Development Manager to grow with us.
Key responsibilities:
Social media management - working with our authors to create content authentic to each author's brand, with the goal of growing their social platforms and engaging their established fanbase (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Goodreads, and more)
Digital outreach to consumers - identifying and creating opportunities to engage with consumers through newsletters, social media, virtual events, and more
Influencer partnerships and relationship building
Coordinating with authors' foreign publishers and PR teams
Writing and reviewing press materials and more (everything from materials to be sent to foreign publishers to help in their PR/Sales outreach to reviewing descriptive English language copy for Salomonsson books and more)
Skills and Experience:
Prior experience from growing and maintaining a brand across social media platforms
Knowledge of social analytic tools
Experience with English language book publishing - familiarity with publishers, publishing teams, and market trends, particularly focused on the crime fiction market
Public relations experience
Strong writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills
