To be based in Malmö, Sweden, Straumann is seeking for a Production & Technology Manager to be responsible for the major processes and strategies of the Production operation and Technology support within Biora, in compliance with ISO, FDA, Health Canada, GMX standards and corporate requirements. Drives cost optimization and continuous improvement in production operation processes.
The position is a key function to the site, reporting to the Site Manager based at Biora AB in Malmö, who in turn reports Global Head of Production based at Corporate HQ in Basel. The position will be a member of the site management team and as such share the responsibility for the site?s overall performance.
Major responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Straumann polices and guidelines within Biora AB.
Coordinate the local implementations of new corporate initiatives, policies and procedures.
Jointly develop the site operation and share the responsibility for the site?s overall performance and goals.
Lead, coach and create an environment that encourage development and motivation within the group. The production department consists of total 10-12 people divided in two groups, production operation (8) and production support (2-4). The production operation team leader reports directly to you as well as the production support group.

The Person:
This is a Senior Management function within the Straumann Group and therefore demands the experience, professional expertise and enthusiasm from an experienced Technology Manager whose credentials closely match the following parameters:
Education / Professional Experience
Master Degree Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years leadership experience, in an international pharmaceutical or med-tech environment.
Experience in training team members.
Personal / Competencies
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must.
Extrovert and winning personality.
Ability to work in an international matrix environment and to implement corporate standards in the plant.
Strong Leadership abilities.
Excellent Communication skills (internal/external) both written and oral.
Strong Ability in Coaching & Building team.
