Bio-Works is increasing its focus on Key Account Management and are looking to hire a new employee. The KAM will be involved in classical sales activities to find new leads, but more importantly to initiate face-to-face meetings to build relations with key customers. Supported by Technical Sales the role is responsible for maintaining a close relation and expand relations with the key customer's network. The person we are looking for has a university degree in biotechnology or similar.
By understanding our own products and the protein purification challenges that our customers have, the task is to propose the right Bio-Works product solution. The position requires travelling in terms of frequent customer visits; therefore, mastering one other language other than English is preferred and having valid driving license is required.

Previous experience from sales, preferably in the Life Science field, but creativity and customer relationship management are more important skills for this position.

Key responsibilities:
• First line business contact to key customers within the specified area
• Coordination of sales activities, technical customer service and project management
• Evaluation and expansion of new business opportunities and customer network
• Transfer customer needs, requirement and expectations into the organization
• Gathering and reporting business intelligence and competitive situation

Candidate requirements (qualifications/experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales in a commercial environment
• Work experience in Life Science or similar
• MSc or PhD in biological/chemical science
• Fluent English and preferably one other language
• A valid driving license

• Able to make decisions individually

Bio-Works was founded 2006 and is based in Uppsala, Sweden. We develop, produce and deliver innovative agarose based products to industry and research organizations in the Life Science field. Our business focus is on marketing and sales of products for the purification of peptides, proteins and other biomolecules in markets with fast growth.
