What we expect from you

Openness, passion and fun: Our guides are the type of individuals that others enjoy being around because they possess positive energy, charisma and passion about people, travel and cycling. They are funny too.
Exceptional Customer Service: You are expected to personalize each guest 's trip to make it an unique experience. You are "always on" to make sure your guests are having a great time while being with us.
Professional, flexible and solution-oriented: You should be able to easily adapt changes when faced with a situation that strays from the plan, for example due to weather, road works or similar
Safety-Focused: Our guides are required to deliver pre-ride Safety Talks and Tips, to constantly be aware of guests' riding habits and offer suggestions or warnings as necessary.
Excellent communication skills: Our guides are able to comfortably communicate with guests in an interesting and fun way. Beyond that, our guides must be proficient in providing thorough feedback and ideas for improvement.
Team-Player: One of the best parts of this job is the people and guides you work with, but they must be also able to rely on you to get the job done right and to have fun doing it.
Foreign languages: Besides English, we run our tours in German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish and Swedish. If you speak any of these languages fluent as well this increases your changes as a candidate.

What you can expect from us

A thorough training on-the-job: In our training session you learn all you need to know about our business and the tours we are offering. We provide you with information about the route and places of interest so that you are able to answer questions that might come from your customers. Additionally you will join a couple of tours before you guide your own one's. You will also learn how to remove and replace a tube, how to remove and replace pedals or how to adjust a bike saddle, to be able to fix minor bike problems yourself during a tour.
A fun summer: We offer our tours from April/May until September/October, and it is up to you how many tours you would like to take over as a guide. May it be only during the week or on weekends, or you are available during the whole week - the more tours you take, the more money you make. Additionally, having a small group with a max. of 15 guests guarantees smooth and fun tours.
Being part of a young and international team: We believe the world is better seen from the seat of a bicycle, so we are keen to create unique bike and holiday experiences. Join a young and motivated team, afterwork hangouts included.
Gratuity on top of your salary: Our customers love great tours, so they are also happy to tip you for having been a brilliant guide.

Welcome to an office with a view! Working as a Bike Sweden guide offers a unique lifestyle with many opportunities. You are fortunate enough to spend the best time of the year outdoors and to have fun with people from all over the world. But the life of a guide is also not always an easy job. Please read through all information provided below to find out if this is the job for you. If the answer is YES, we are looking forward to hear back from you.

Bike Sweden was founded in 2009 as bike rental. First, it was little more than a one man operation, but over the years it has quickly grown to an operation with a summer peak of over 15 staff.

Shortly after, the portfolio was extended with guided sightseeing tours. The offer ranged from public tours with daily start options to private, tailor-made tours in multiple languages. Two years later the portfolio was extended again - with self-guided bike tours in and around Stockholm. Additionally a large offer for bike tours to Europe was added.

In 2016, Bike Sweden was purchased by Eurofun Touristik, Europe's largest cycle-tourism company, with operations in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and France. In addition, Bike Sweden added the Kattegat route to its portfolio, Sweden's first national bike path. Today, the company focuses on a diversified offer for cycling holidays in Scandinavia and Europe and guided sightseeing tours through Stockholm.
