hela Sverige The Bid Project Manager has a technical as well as commercial responsibility for INTERFLO bids - our rail control solutions for traditional railways. In Bombardier is our regional organisation responsible for sales and project deliveries, from the INTERFLO Solution Management team we are responsible to support in strategical, commercial as well as technical questions. You will be involved all the way from identification of market opportunities and strategies until submitted bids. You will work in close cooperation with Sales, Bids, Strategy and Engineering in the Regions as well as in the central product development organisation. You will be responsible to organize and follow-up support as well as governance.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Be a part of the solution management team that beside bids also have experts on technical solutions, operational aspects, market intelligence, Performance/RAM and standardisation.
• Plan and lead execution of Solution Management part of INTERFLO bids.
• Keep an updated planning for strategical bids based on reviews with the Regions. Communicate it with involved parties and plan the execution of it.
• Contact with central functions in bid questions e.g. Sales Force and bid process.
• Together with Solution Architects and Product Owners ensure compliance with solution and product roadmaps
• Plan and lead participation in White and Blue Book reviews
• Ensure sign off on technical solutions, compliance, estimates and financing from applicable parts of EAPD.
• Maintain the bid database with documentation on submitted bids.
• Analyse, benchmark and define KPIs for bids to ensure competitiveness and use of best practises.
• Plan and Participate in marketing activities.
• Standardization of bids related to documentation.
• University degree in Engineering or Business Development
• 5+ years of experience required with marketing, and/or product development
• Interest for technical as well as commercial aspect of the business.
• Project management skill in an international environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong integrity and negotiating skills
• Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities
• Expertise with Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel up to 10% per year mainly in Europe
• English business fluent is mandatory for this role
