Are You our new Bid and Proposal Engineer ready to take on an important role in our Bidding-Team?
Enwa Water Technology is growing, and we have many ongoing and an increasing number of expected prospects in our pipeline, many of them ending up in Projects.
As one of our Bid and Proposal Engineers you will be working with preparation of bespoke quotations for customers worldwide within offshore, maritime, and land-based industry.
About the Bid and Proposal Engineer role
Our Bid and Proposal Engineers shall ensure that correct technical information is evaluated and included in relevant stages of the quotation work in cooperation with Tender Manager and other technical resources assigned to the bidding team for ongoing and new bidding projects.
Our Bid and Proposal Engineer is responsible for the technical solution in the quotation work. This means:
• Be the "first in line" technical resource within the Bid-Team for technical support and technical solutions related to regulations, functionality and technology offered by Enwa Water Technology.
• Participate in outlining technical descriptions in tender document.
• Prepare drawings and sketches such as Piping & Instrument Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams and 3D modelling. It would be an advantage if you are familiar with the software Inventor and AutoCAD that we use for our design work.
• Prepare required and relevant documentation for the quotations such as SPIR, EPMS, Datasheets etc.
• To have technical dialog with sub-suppliers to acquire enough technical support and right documentation for components and system descriptions.
• To have dialog with our technical department to clarify technical issues that may arise during quotation work.
• To have dialog with our production team on production capacity and estimate timeline for assembly work.
• Participate in technical clarification meetings with customers and sub-suppliers.
• Estimation work for budget quotations to support Sales department to enter new customer relations and to be included in vendor list for upcoming projects for existing customers.
- Participation in meetings for handing over quotation work to project team.
• It would be an advantage if you have some experience with project work.
Employment will be at our office in Importgatan 21, Hisings Backa, Sweden, however some travel activity must be considered.
It is expected that Bid and Proposal Engineer attend exhibitions to meet sub-suppliers to be up to date on development on components and new technology.
