Our battery management team is passionate about enabling the electrified future. We design EV batteries and create future cutting-edge innovations together with the Geely's R&D organization in China and together with external partners such as startups and suppliers all over the world. We work together with other Motion and Energy functions in an agile cross-functional project organization. As our BMS Software System Engineer you will play an important part in the development of EV Batteries for future vehicles. You will join a team that are dedicated to design, innovation, and technology. With members that are, just like you, proud of their professionalism, motivation and level of skills. As our System SW Engineer, you will be based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg.
This is the BMS SW System Engineer role:
• Responsibility for SW Specification and validation for EV Battery Management system
• Interaction with suppliers in China.
• Interaction with many other teams to handle SW interfaces.
• Making system and software requirements in SystemWeaver and MS Office tools.
• Product data management in Teamcenter and Sharepoint
• Key role in developing strategies and roadmaps for advanced BMS functionality
Required skills and experiences:
• More than 3 Years' Experience from EV battery development
• More than 3 Years' Experience from embedded SW development and validation
• MSc Physical/Electronic/Software engineering or equivalent
• Fluent English in speech and writing
• Passion for knowledge sharing and great ability to listen and learn from others
• Innovative and creative
Desirable additional skills:
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Experience with requirement tools like Systemweaver or Electra
• Experience with product data management tools like Teamcenter
• Experience with embedded system development tools
• Experience from Geely development framework and NPDS Passion for electrification and new future mobility.
