About the role
As a Backend developer at Viaplay you will be a part of a diverse team all working for the same purpose, to enhance the experience for the user. You will be working in a cross-functional team that all are responsible for delivering business-critical micro-services to all Viaplay platform clients. By continuously adding functionality and improving existing features your job has a direct impact on the enduser experience. To succeed with their mission and build scalable services areas such AI and deep learning are parts of the development process. There are now four product teams specialized in various areas all thriving to enable the best possible services to their users.You will work closely with your team as well as developer in other functions as well. The tech-stack used is Node.js and React among others so you will have a great opportunity to work your magic in modern techniques. Viaplay are up in the cloud hosted in AWS, and they have a flexible production environment using Docker and micro services.
About you
Viaplay is looking for a passionated developer with a curious mindset and an eager to constantly develop and learn new things. In order to make a good fit in the team you are driven and flexible with good understanding of what the customers wants. You are a great team player that enjoy sharing knowledge with others. We believe that you have accumulated several years as a developer working in Node.js, and preferable with other languages as well. Does this sound like an interesting challenge for you?
