We are looking for a backend developer who thrives when exploring and trying out new things, who can investigate, assess and integrate new services and technologies into the Babyshop Group stack. We are looking for someone to do the first rounds of implementations, and set standards to be followed by our more junior colleagues. We are looking for someone who wants to help us become the most cutting edge e-commerce retailer in Sweden!

You will be a part of our newly formed Tech team, which means plenty of freedom as well as plenty of responsibility - you will have the chance to help us form our development culture. At Babyshop we fail fast, but excel at what we do!

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigate options and suggest solutions to business problems
• Help with technical analysis, requirements and scoping
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Help develop the company's development standards, best practices, and methodologies
• Develop and maintain our solutions and integrations
• Maintain automated testing solutions

AN EXCELLENT CANDIDATE

• Loves agile development, automated testing and continuous integration
• Organized, structured and autonomous
• Attention to detail
• Team player with a clear communication style
• Thriving with change in a fast-paced young environment
• A couple of years, or more, experience of backend development
• Good knowledge in one of our chosen technologies, enthusiastic about learning more. Node, Java and Python.
• Experience with and interest in working with cloud-native architecture and methodologies, microservices, serverless, etc.
• Good knowledge in HTTP, REST, JSON, SQL-databases, and GIT
• Good knowledge in HTTP, REST and JSON
• Good knowledge in GIT
• Experience with AWS, E-commerce, Warehouse management and frontend development
