Responsibilities
As a Back-End Lead your tasks will include being the competence center for the Swedish nuclear waste management system. You will be expected to be technically informed, monitor and challenge the large SKB project such as extended final repository for operational waste (SFR), Encapsulation plant (CLINK) and final repository for spent fuel. You will also be fully informed and challenge the safety concepts of the final repositories, intermediate storages and transport system, as well as monitor and challenge the management of existing waste facilities.
You will manage and develop decommissioning concepts in cooperation with BKAB and OKG and also ensure efficient knowledge transfer between OKG, BKAB and SNP. You?re expected to supply technical support to Asset Management SKB/BKAB.
Other assignments include:
Monitor and benchmark the international development of decommissioning
Monitor, benchmark and seek synergies with the Finnish waste system
Participate in national and international forums for waste and decommissioning
Participate in SKB Research/Development/Demonstration and Plan group
You will report to the Manager of Operations. This role is based in Malmoe.
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
Proven leadership skills and managerial experience
Strong sense of accountability and personal drive
Relevant controlling experience with a sound understanding of the energy business. Specific nuclear knowledge is desirable
Strong analytical mindset and willingness to drive performance and change
High level of commercial awareness
Advanced communication and presentation skills
High personal responsibility and tolerance to stress
Fluent in written and spoken English and willingness to learn written and spoken Swedish
Team player with strong willingness to work in an international environment
High level of integrity and reliability
Ability to see the big picture and find a pragmatic approach
Good Microsoft Office knowledge and willingness to learn other business systems
