Automotive Specialist (Sales Support and Training Specialist)
Overall Purpose of the Position:
Supporting the local V4 & Carspecs customers, by giving them excellent support and service. Customers include the following automotive subsectors: OEM, Leasing & Renting, Insurance, Dealership, Portal, Components and Press.
Responsibilities:
Use influence and knowledge during customer contact to promote JATO solutions and services, and communicate sales leads to the Sales team.
• Provide first line support on technical product / databases issues, and qualify them before handing them over to second line technical support team for resolution or further investigation.
• Determine customer requirements and assist sales staff. Manage the products presentation and installation at client sites or JATO servers and manage the delivery of fulfilment projects (custom requests from customers).
• Deliver both internal and external training and provide consultancy for JATO products in assigned markets. Training may be delivered in a classroom-based environment, onsite with a customer or online. Travel to other markets may be required.
• Customise the automotive content of Carspecs demonstration web sites through its administration interface.
• Liaise with head office (Harrow, UK) to send/follow up support calls or request design customisations.
Requirements
It is necessary to communicate effectively in English, Swedish, verbal and written. Additional European languages (ideally Finish) would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years+ experience in product marketing roles (analysis, planning, pricing), solutions based training, research or sales support within a client focused, specialist environment, within the European Automotive OEM Manufacturer industry. Experience and familiarity of the Swedish automotive market & products would be advantageous.
Candidates have to be confident, selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a flexible, professional attitude and act as a good team player, wanting to work towards meeting expectations and providing solutions. Demonstration of attention to detail, dedication to task completion, ability to prioritise workloads, work within tight deadlines on an ad hoc basis and interest in learning new applications, products, techniques, and technologies is essential.
PC excellence at a User level (Windows, Office, Internet) is essential. Analytical and numeric skills are needed for automotive content customisation. Training will be given in JATO-specific customisation techniques as these are non-standard and cannot be acquired elsewhere.
Ideally the candidate should hold a university graduate or equivalent combination of college and work experience.
Conditions
The candidate will be home-based in Stockholm, visiting Sweden clients' sites as necessary. Candidates should be willing to travel to countries in the Nordic Region & overseas on company business as required.
