To join our team of consultants in the Automotive sector based in Sweden, we are looking for motivated and dynamic consultants with expertise in Mechanical Design solutions for the Engineering industry. They will play a challenging role and be key players in the success of our clients' projects.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will support our clients by:
• Working on the technical definition of the product, as well as its feasibility
• Create 3D models and layouts of components
• Design of high-tech plastic or metal parts (injection molded or die cast, machined etc)
• Communicate technical information and act as liaison between teams;
• Designing castings, forgings, stampings, and special layouts as needed for customers and suppliers;
• Negotiate within the working level related departments
Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or similar area
Minimum 4 years of experience in Design of exterior components of cars (front and rear end, closures etc.), plastic and metal sheet
Mastering of CATIA V5
Good knowledge of pedestrian safety
Knowledge of Teamcenter is plus
Fluency in English
