TekSiC is a growing start-up company in the semiconductor industry based in Linköping. The team has over 60 years of experience in designing and running SiC crystal growth, and over 40 years of experience in designing epitaxial tools for wide bandgap semiconductors. Together we are working towards the goal to develop, manufacture and sell next generation crystal growth systems for industries on the global market. Since the company is growing, we are now looking for an automation team leader who wants to be part of TekSiC's journey.
About the role
As an automation engineer you will have a key role where you work closely with software and electrical engineers, as well as the system architects. As an automation team leader, you will:
Be responsible for the automation at TekSiC and have the main responsibility for leading the company's automation team and supervise junior automation engineers.
Lead different automation projects.
Work with the full automation architecture, including both software and electrical design.
Work with PLC and HMI programming
Construct electrical schematics along with component selections.
Together with the regulatory team ensure that the automation solutions comply with necessary regulatory and safety requirements.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
Have an education and industrial experience in automation.
Have a strong understanding regarding electricity, automation, and technology.
Have experience in leading teams and various projects.
Can communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
As a person:
You are creative and innovative and likes to work proactively in a dynamic environment.
You are ambitious, dedicated and have a structured and meticulous approach to work.
You take responsibility and are good at working together with others.
You have good social skills and strong leadership qualities where you can communicate in a humble manner and lead teams towards common goals and milestones. Your ability to work within and lead a team will be highly valued, just like your personal qualities.

The employment is a permanent position with an initial probationary period. The start date is immediate or according to agreement. The position is based at the company's development unit in Linköping. Travel may be required for the role.
