If you have a genuine technical interest and enjoy working with automation in liquid food processing the position as Automation Engineer might be for you.
Tetra Pak Processing Systems offers and supply high quality process solutions for liquid food to the global market. We are experts on food technology and process solutions all the way from intake of raw material, pre-treatment, mixing, blending, heat treatment techniques and buffering of the ready product.
In the position as Automation Engineer within Operations Engineering, BU Dairy, Beverage & Prepared Food organization, you will be part of the full process from quotations, order to delivery and customer acceptance. You will also be working closely together with other areas in the company such as Sales, production, R&D etc.
Main responsibilities
• Be the expert of automation design in quotations.
• Be the expert of automation design in customer orders throughout the order process.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and customers.
• Development & maintenance of automation software & hardware in our products.
• Deliver sales support and education.
• Commissioning and troubleshooting at our customer sites when needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who has a high personal drive with strong focus on problem solving, results and structure. It is important that you are self-motivated and flexible. Since the position involves a lot of interaction with stakeholders both internally and externally you need to be a socially skilled individual. We believe you have a high technical interest and knowledge.
Your educational background is a Masters degree specialising in automation and at least 5-10 years of work life experience related to automation. Experience from automation design in the liquid food processing area is considered as a merit.
Furthermore, you are experienced within PLC and HMI programming and also familiar with Siemens, Rockwell and SattLine automation systems.
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
The position is based in Lund and includes travelling, approx. 25 days/year.
