Job description
Are you experienced in automation engineering within the process industry? Do you want to work in one of the world's biggest snack food companies with brands like Marabou, Daim, Aladdin, and O'boy? Right now, Mondelez in Upplands Väsby is looking their next Automation Engineer.

As Automation Engineer, you will work in an experienced automation team and support production in the Upplands Väsby-plant. You will work closely with operators and different departments within the plant. In the role as Automation Engineer you main responsibilities will be to work with preventative/predictive maintenance to ensure minimum downtime within the production, integrate new equipment into the system and predictive planning regarding electrical systems.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and will become part of a multifaceted department consisting of skilled automation engineers, mechanics, technicians, storage keepers and maintenance personnel. You will be part of a workplace with positive environment and great opportunities within Sweden and the international organization. The role is stationed in Upplands Väsby, Sweden.

Responsibilities
Work with process engineers to develop an automation system to control the process.
Program, configure and integrate new equipment into an existing system.
Assist in planning, organizing, monitoring and oversight of all phases of test automation.
Develops the annual overhauling plan and ensure the availability of all needed electrical and electronic parts in the plants.
Ensure successful execution of the projects in accordance with Integrated Lean Sigma (IL6S).
Ensure the existence of software library for all PLCs, Inverters and HMIs to avoid sudden long breakdowns.
Responsible of the preventative/predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment overhauls and upgrades as it pertains to the plant electrical systems.
Measure, commissioning, protection and control circuits in power and distribution substation.
Participate in the preparation of modifications and projects requirement including new production lines or upgrade or excessing equipment.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure minimum maintenance downtime, operating a total maintenance program including proactive support, reliability driven and safety-first mindset in a GMP environment.

Qualifications
We are looking for a person with:

Experience working as an automation engineer within the process industry.
Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent experience
Experience in control circuit design, PLC (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and drives programming and design
Knowledge of Automation Package (Drivers-PLC-Scada-HMI)
Good Knowledge in Machine directives and machine safety
Have experience with Risk Assessment, LOTO/Machine Guarding (MG)
Good proficiency in English language in speech and writing

Experience with PID regulators and proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
