Business Unit Liquid Food (BU LF) is responsible for development and manufacturing of units for processing of dairy, beverage and prepared food applications. We work closely with our clusters to understand customer needs, create and convey our solutions that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its Customers. BU LF has approx. 460 employees in four main sites: Lund in Sweden, Winsted in USA, Shanghai in China and Pune in India.
As Automation Engineer in Food Engineering you will work in a broad area within the automation field. You will be responsible for and manage the automation design and engineering in orders, but you will also work with customer relations and product development.
Main responsibilities
• Be responsible for and manage automation design in orders such as dimensioning of control equipment, panel specification, programming and function descriptions
• Create function specific documents and data to customers and other areas in the work process such as test and documentation
• Occasionally working with internal sales support, customer claims, product nursing and product development, trouble shooting, support and audits at customer sites. Further you may take part in workshop tests
Qualifications
As a person, you are service-minded, have high liability and excellent communication skills. You have a strong driving force, and you are structured, accurate and flexible. Furthermore, you can work independently as well as with others. A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Since the position involves travelling, you need to be a socially skilled individual with a strong ability to adjust.
We believe you have a University degree/ diploma, within Automation and a couple of years' experience, preferably from the processing and food industry. You are excellent with PLC and HMI programming as well as theoretical automatic control. Furthermore, you have experience from Siemens or Rockwell or other well-known automation systems. You also need a systematic approach and good documentation skills.
