www.heatex.comHeatex AB is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer
The majority of our production equipment is custom built to fit our specific needs. As a part of the technology group, your job is to maintain and improve the existing fleet of machines, and also take part in the development of new production equipment.
You will be the only automation engineer at the company, as such you are expected to work with a wide range of duties, such as mechatronics, hydraulics, PLC and HMI programming, electric design, machine safety and faultfinding.
Smaller projects are generally handled in house at the Heatex workshop. Larger projects often involve external companies where your role is to make specifications for the electric and automation systems, ensure that requirements are met and that necessary knowledge is transferred to Heatex.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain specifications and software for production lines including safety systems
• Global automation support for production equipment
• Electrical design for production lines
• Installation and commissioning of production lines
• Design specifications and other documents related to production equipment
• Be part of developing new press line concepts
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform system tests
Systems and tools:
• Servo systems: Bosch, Sure servo
• Control systems: Koyo
• HMI: Beijer E-series
• Electric design: Elprocad
Desired experiences and skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, preferably with courses in the field of energy.
• A minimum of 10 years? experience of automation engineering including PLC, Servo, safety and HMI software.
• Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
• Fulfillment of machine directive and CE standards.
• Structured and well organized with good project leader skills.
• Goal oriented with an eye for identifying improvements.
• Creative with analytical skills and a great interest in technology.
• Good communication skills and social competence.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
