We are a friendly British family living on Lidingö, just outside central Stockholm. Our current aupair is sadly nearing the end of her year with us. We are therefore looking for a kind, caring and organized person to help look after our children (4 and 6 years) and with some housework. Accomodation provided. The children are bilingual English/Swedish: you will need to have a very good level of at least one of these languages, and we have a slight preference for a fluent (mother tongue or same level) English speaker.
Working hours:
Total approx 25 hours a week (by mutual agreement). Preliminary working hours: 6:45am - 8:15am Monday to Friday (help with breakfast, taking the children to school/dagis), also 2-3 days a week collecting the children from school/dagis and looking after them until we return from work (3.30pm-6.30pm) or taking them to activities. Housework approx 8 hours a week, weekdays. Babysitting one evening a week and very occasionally at weekends (by prior agreement). Our previous aupairs have combined the job with part time studying either in Stockholm or by distance learning.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Experience with children and references required. Driving licence preferred.
Övriga villkor:
Live-in position. Nice room. You must have the right to live and work in Sweden and be able to stay 12 months, with a 1 month trial period. Preliminary start date 20th August 2010. Apply in English or Swedish. Det går bra att skriva ansökan på svenska.
