King is looking for a visionary leader to guide the development of best in class Sound and Music across our global studios and franchises. You will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to define the vision and goals for sound across the company and the plan to achieve them including global best practices/process and the continued development of a small, world class team of Composers, Sound designers and Sound Engineers. As the champion for sound and music quality at King, you will provide direct assistance to teams where required, review franchise needs and manage external sound and music production where necessary. You will be a key partner to engine and tools development leaders to ensure that composers and designer have the tools they need to achieve the highest levels of quality. People are also your passion and as leader of the sound and music domain at King, you will own job family definition, global training and development programs and career support for the team.

• Collaborate with design leadership and sound/music team at King to develop a global vision, strategy and goals Sound and Music
• Domain management of sound/music job family including RnR definition, recruiting support and evaluation
• Collaborate with leadership to determine a consistent set of best practices and high level production process to ensure consistent delivery of high quality sound and music
• Represent Sound in Creative Champions, providing critical feedback at key milestone reviews
• Provide direct, hands on support at the franchise level if necessary
• Own external sound and music development, including evaluation (on an ongoing basis) of external development needs across all King studios in the short, medium and long term and operational supervision
• Work with franchise teams to evaluate their specific needs and facilitate vendor testing, selection, contracts
• Coach and support franchise teams with engagement best practices and engagement set-up.
