The mother of the family work full time, in the household we have two boys at the age of 4 and 7. The family need help with basic household services in order to make ends meet. Work starts in August 2017, and will last until July 2018.
Example tasks would be to;
• Leave and pick up the kids at kindergarten, in order to avoid too long days at home.
• Play with the boys, either before leaving, or after picking them up and until I come home from work.
• Help with shopping, cleaning, gardening, cooking, washing or whatever household work that might be of interest.
• Babysit after agreement
We have a modern structure of our family, this means that both parents have responsible for the children. It also means that one parent is away from home some longer periods and the children lives away from home shorter periods.
Estimated workload will be 20-25 hours per week, but the workload is also very variable since the family need more help when one parent is away on work longer periods.
This job can be combined with University or language studies.
We will provide;
• Accommodation (own room and bathroom in our house in Söndrum/Stenhuggeriet - 15 minutes with bus from Halmstad City Center, 1-2 km from the sea)
• Food together with the family
• Pocket money (at au-pair level - 3.500 SEK/month)
We are looking for a girl who;
• Is really interested in, and have a lot of experience with kids
• Has a lot of patience and likes to play with two wonderful boys
• Is agreeable and easy to get along with
• Is flexible with regards to working schedule and tasks
• Would like to be a "part time" member of our family for at least a year
• Speaks at least some Swedish, and would be willing to learn more (the kids speak no English)
A valid driver's license will make the job easier, but is no absolute requirement.
