The Attribute Vehicle Energy Efficiency are responsible for strategies, requirements, competence and process development to meet future CO2 challenges. Today we are more than 45 engaged engineers within the group that have taken the challenge to transform from focusing CO2 emissions to energy efficient vehicles as our focus to also meet future demands for electrified vehicles.
The attribute section is divided into two groups. We are working to fulfill the target set for future vehicles, all legal requirements and market needs are implemented into future vehicles at the same time as focusing and learning from quality of current production at the right time and cost for all Volvo projects
As Task Leader you will be responsible for leading Vehicle Energy Efficiency and other cross functions and make sure that the projects reaches its requirements and targets. The main purpose is to move Volvo Cars environmental strategy forward, making Volvo Cars one of the leading car manufacturers in the world regarding energy efficiency with electrified vehicles.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the Vehicle energy efficiency assignment with a cross-functional team to secure deliveries and results
* Responsible to create assignment time plans which meet the overall project plan
* Report the assignment status and decisions to Environment attribute leaders and Line management
* Anchor decisions, development, status and prognosis for the assignment with the project and line management
* Report deviations and propose road-maps
* Develop and implement common tools and processes for all task leaders in the attribute
* Learn and to teach the organization about our attribute when it is in constant change
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineer
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driver's license ( B )
Preferred Qualifications:
* Skilled PC user and experience of MS Office, Lotus Notes and KDP
* Experience of working with product development
* Experience of working as task leader, project manager
