The section Propulsion System Attributes, within the department Propulsion Strategy and Innovation, lead the strategy and definition of tomorrows Propulsion variants. To ensure that we bring forth the best concepts possible we work with the underlying strategies, advanced engineering and all challenges that emerge in concept development. At Product & Quality we have a bright future ahead of us with new exciting developments, and we are now looking for an Attribute Integration Leader Emissions with a holistic and driven approach.
In this position, you will be responsible for securing the implementation of the Technical Attribute Emission targets in Strategy and Concept phase. You will join our team of highly skilled engineers, complementing our Emission Strategy Attribute Leader to give us the strength to carry out all possible ideas and reach all concerned parties.
As your responsibilities goes from complete vehicle down to each affected sub-unit, it is important with good knowledge of overall emission legislation, system function and effects, complete vehicle understanding and with this good networking.
Main responsibilities
* Annual technology cycle plan and the Technology Attribute Strategy for Emissions
* Follow up projects to secure emission compliance and sustainability targets
* Analyse the need of updated product capabilities due to new and changed emission targets
* Participate in knowledge gap analysis in concept development
* Participate in system engineering teams (emissions) and drive studies with concerned responsible
* Collaboration with emission development, verification and certification engineers
Required qualifications
* MSc or equivalent documented experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in working with engine development, emission calibration or legal requirement analysis
* Environmental interest in emission legislation worldwide
* Ability to travel
