Overview
Essity offers a broad range of incontinence products under the TENA brand and is the clear global market leader. The global brand TENA has annual sales in excess of SEK 10bn. Essity's offering, which includes both products and services, improves the quality of life for consumers while also reducing costs for institutional customers, such as nursing homes.
The Assortment Manager, part of the Europe Product Management (EPM), Health and Medical Solutions organization, is responsible for a team of five Technical Article Managers, managing a competitive assortment (existing and new product launches) within the Business Unit.
The Assortment Manager is responsible for defining, developing and implementing assortment strategies across the Business Unit based on requirements from stakeholders, such as marketing, manufacturing, sourcing and R&D. This includes driving assortment optimization activities to ensure a cost effective and competitive assortment with right quality.



Main Tasks
Responsible for the Heavy Inco assortment for Inco EU
Leads, manages, and develops a team of Technical Article Managers
Drives, develops, and owns a competitive Heavy Inco assortment fulfilling business requirements and objectives
Defines, develops and implements assortment strategies
Is responsible to take decisions affecting the assortment, e.g. through owning and driving cross-functional teams to ensure all input required for decisions
Gives expertise assortment input to GHC to guide and support innovation projects
Steers and evaluates KPI fulfilment and KPI's alignment with the strategy
Secures the interface with R&D and the regional & local marketing operations
Aligns EU demands to aim for an assortment that is efficient to both sell and produce
Proactively participates in cross-functional networks to secure alignment with GHC and regional marketing

Key Competencies
MBA or equivalent University degree
Proven track record of success in a Commercial organization with close relations to customers and internal stakeholders
5+ years of Line Manager experience and preferable experience from project leader role
Strong personal leadership (envisioning, energizing and executing) and experience in leading multicultural teams. Proven to deliver results with high sense of urgency
International work orientation and experience with demonstrated leadership skills/networking ability
Proven ability to drive multidisciplinary teams to drive global/regional enabler project
Change Management focus and with a flexible, open mind and a positive attitude
Ability to travel 20-60 days/year
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
