Typical Job Functions:
The Nordic/Baltic legal unit consists of 18 lawyers in the Nordic/Baltic countries, with the responsibility to advise the European business in relation to a large variety of questions. Areas of particular focus are our regulated business (including trading, clearing and settlement), general business operation (including M&A, contract drafting and negotiations), governance and compliance. The common denominator in all these areas is that the legal team is an appreciated business partner and integral part of the decision making processes.
This position provides an opportunity to be part of an experienced and knowledgeable team of lawyers within the Nordic/Baltic area within a dynamic international environment.
Requirements:
• Law degree
• At least five years working experience, preferably from a major law firm or similar
• Experience of financial industry is an advantage
• Team player with integrity and result oriented
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Flexible and curious
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
