Technical Dealer Support is supporting the growth and profitability by maximizing Uptime : We are an international team of highly committed and experienced professionals and act 24/7 as a 1st line support for workshop questions on Parts, Service and Repair Information (Impact, Consult, EPC,?), Aftermarket System Support (TechTool) and related areas for Volvo Penta, Volvo Bus, and the Volvo Group Truck brands.
Function
As Assistant Technical Support Engineer you will work in a team solving technical problems for internal and external customers of Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Volvo Bus and Volvo Penta.
Your main activity is to assist dealers in your language area with parts queries, electronics and diagnostics and therefore you will need an analytic approach and problem solving mindset.
You will have a lot of contact with dealers and product engineers so make sure that the information from the market is handled in such manner that repeated questions and problems from customers can be avoided.
Profile
You have a technical background (automotive) or experience and interest in the automotive industry. Perhaps you have built up a broad technical knowledge?
You are able to write, interpret and understand technical documentation so that you can show collaboration, communication and facilitation skills.
You are skilled in MS Office and you have a natural feel for continuous learning and personal involvement, as a result other software systems won?t have secrets for you.
You are willing to work in a shift system, because you are flexible!
You are fluent in English + any Scandinavian language and you are not afraid to use it.
