Unilever is looking for an Assistant Consumer & Market Insight Manager with Shopper focus to join our Nordic team in Solna
As Assistant Consumer & Market Insight Manager Nordic you are part of the Nordic CMI department. The team works as a strategic partner to other functions in the business and is responsible for Nordic market research, market data and identifying key consumer insights and trends to drive the business.
In this role, you will be responsible for Shopper understanding across Nordic - a vital role in the company to support in understanding the triggers and barriers at the shopping moment. To be successful in the CMI department you should also have a business sense and understand where and how the company should achieve the best results through proactively identifying opportunities.
Alongside Shopper you will be business partner for Nordic Home Care category (Via, Comfort, Neutral, Surf). For the Home Care team, you are a key person between the company and external partner agencies when it comes to briefing, managing market research/analysis and communicating a deeper understanding of consumers' habits and behaviors. You should therefore have a passion for consumer behavior and trends.
In general, you will be part of and drive different projects - both planned and ad hoc. You will co-operate with many other units in the company, mainly with the marketing and sales units so being a team player is essential. As the Assistant CMI Manager you report into the Senior Nordic CMI Manager Personal Care based in Stockholm and work with the rest of CMI Nordic as well as CMI colleagues around Europe.
Could this be U?
We believe you have 2-3 years of professional experience from Category Management or a research agency, where you have worked with quantitative or qualitative research. Ideally, you have an education in Economics, Statistics or similar where you have developed both a critical and proactive mindset. Previous experience from working with Category Management, GfK or Nielsen data is a plus.
We also expect you to be structured and analytical. You are comfortable in presenting research findings, and are curious and outgoing. Experience from working with FMCG is a plus. As we work for the Nordic market it is an advantage if you have similar Nordic working experience. For this position you need to be fluent in English and Swedish.
