We are a service company to Inter IKEA Systems BV., the owner of the IKEA Concept and worldwide IKEA franchisor. From our office in Helsingborg, Store Design Services provides unique IKEA specialist competence in developing, improving, designing, establishing and operating an IKEA store.
Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are currently looking for an Architect to join our Store Design and Retail Architecture team based in Helsingborg, Sweden.
As an architect you will be responsible for making conceptual drawings for our IKEA store projects. We are building and re-building IKEA stores in Europe, Asia, America and Australia. We work with a worldwide concept and adjust every IKEA store to the local conditions. You will co-operate with the country's local organisation as well as with external and internal architects and traffic specialists. We work with ArchiCAD as our main tool.
You can look forward to work in a developing environment with many possibilities, where we together find new ways and methods to meet our customers. We cooperate with IKEA all over the world, which implies a multi cultural climate and that you are comfortable to speak and write in English as well as prepared to do some travelling.
Utbildning och erfarenhetYou have an architect degree (degree certificate from architecture education) and the experience of working as an architect for a couple of years. Experience from and knowledge about cities with high density population is an advantage.
Furthermore you need to have documented experience from working with CAD and general computer software such as MS Office.
You are socially skilled and find it easy to build relations and earn trust. You have good communicative skills and show enthusiasm, drive and determination in what you do. You also take responsibility for action and results, makes things happen and are interested in solving functions by thinking flow oriented.
Naturally, you are also contributing to IKEAs shared vision to "create a better everyday life for the many people" by being non-prestigious, open and straightforward when co-operating with others. Furthermore, you are cost-conscious and know that everything has its price
