In the role of Area Sales Manager within ADB SAFEGATE you will be responsible for a handful of key projects and you will influence key stakeholders including the Civil Aviation Authority, Airport Operators, Consultants and Contractors. In this position you will spend significant time understanding the customer's situation and needs related to safety, efficiency and environment. You will validate how ADB SAFEGATE can help to improve our customers performance and you will assist them in transforming their need into a buying action.
You will primarily work towards the Nordic market together with a small team from our office in Malmö.
Job description
Independently you will drive, be responsible to and ensure your sales processes. You will collaborate with other departments to following the sales orders. We all contribute to the "overall customer satisfaction level" and in this position it's important to be close to and communicate effectively with customers and agents to keep them updated.
As Area Sales Manager you must be able to manage long term business cycles.
Travelling will be a natural part of your work and is estimated to be around 50-75 per year.
Qualifications
To succeed and enjoy the role as an Area Sales Manager at ADB SAFEGATE it's a must to have good understanding and experience of working with sales, preferably internationally. You hold a degree from a university, preferably technical and/or financial business. We think you have around 3-5 years of experience in an operational position within sales and marketing. We operate in a global environment, and for this role you need to be fluent in Swedish and English in both speaking and writing. Skills in Russian or any other language is an asset since there might be assignments also in Eastern Europe and/or in other markets. Driving license is a requirement.
Qualities
We are looking for you who have finished your studies, worked about 3-5 years with sales and now are ready to take on an even bigger challenge. As an Area Sales Manager it's important to possess a distinct drive, be strategic combined with patience to match long business processes typical of the airport industry as sales projects can be 2-5 years. To handle this role you need to be confident, self- motivated, service minded, and of course target oriented. At the same time, you are flexible and a team player. You must have a good social ability to be able to develop contact with customers and agents as well as with colleagues.
