hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Glaxosmithkline Consumer Healthcare i Solna Take the exciting opportunity to be part of building a new Area and a new team with us in GSK Consumer Healthcare as we are now recruiting an Area Medical Director to lead the Medical function in Benelux Nordics.
The role encompasses all the responsibilities of Medical Affairs (from clinical research to medical-marketing / partnering with commercial), Medical information and Pharmacovigilance, with clear deliverables in all areas to ensure the application of Medical Governance and achievement of business objectives in the Area for the benefit of patients and consumers.
Your tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Lead and manage Area / Country Medical Affairs by providing leadership and medical/scientific guidance to teams on product promotions, product communications to consumers/patients and Health Care Professionals.
• Define differentiated medical programs to existing and new products to make launches most successful and manage lifecycle of existing products effective. Actively input into new product development and future strategies.
• Seek medical insights to increase value of product strategies.
• Collaboration with internal teams, such as local management and cross functional teams, Global Medical, Clinical Operations, Regional and Category teams, and external groups and people, including government agencies, professional societies and external experts, to help achieve company objectives and to build GSK reputation.
• To establish and manage Medical Governance Policies & Pharmacovigilance function for countries within the Area
Qualifications;
Education
Basic: Degree in Clinical Science (eg Medicine, Pharmacy) or higher degree in Biomedical Science
Preferred: Medical Doctor, other Higher Biomedical Degree or Qualification may be acceptable
Experiences:
Minimum of 5-8 years experience in Pharmaceuticals or OTC industry, preferably in a Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare FMCG Industry of International repute, with broad experience in Medical.
