DESCRIPTION
As a mechanical design engineer at Ekström & Son you will be working with a wide spectrum of tasks, covering advanced stress calculations and analysis in a wide variety of materials according to different codes and standards. The work is project based and you will be joining a tight team with solid experience of building complex process equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering and thrive on product development and creating new solutions for your clients. Process industry experience or experience from the manufacturing industry is very desirable, as well as experience of tube and pressure vessel design according to the PED directive. You are fully comfortable with working with AutoCAD and Inventor. Ideally, you have experience of working with the EN13445/ASME VIII div 1 standards. Experience of CFD/FEM, facilitated by ANSYS is desirable, alternatively experience of conducting thermal heat calculations. As we operate on a global basis it is an absolute requirement that you are fully fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong business acumen and a positive, professional attitude is something we value highly.
