We currently have the following job opening;
Architecture Concept Leader
The Architecture Concept Leader has the leading role for the Concept development and Geometric Integration across the Development Units, Product Design & Manufacturing for complete vehicle architecture in the applicable phases. In this position you will play a fundamental role in securing and integrating the technologies necessary to ensure CEVT's competitive future.
You will be the team leader for the architecture concept team, including responsibility to coordinate and lead the daily work for the team. This position does not include people management responsibility.
This position belongs to the unit Vehicle Integration, who leads all complete vehicle activities as CAE, Attributes, Concept and Geometrical integration, Hardware build and complete vehicle verification. We make sure the Car will have the right vehicle performance characteristics and balance. You will report to the Director of Vehicle Concept and Package and you will work closely with the Top Hat Concept team leader and Block leaders to ensure compatibility and continuity in product development.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Balancing Concept solutions, Attributes, Design and Manufacturing to give clear recommendations for Concept selection.
• Leading the concept team through the development and release of the CV-specification, hard point criteria, concept layouts and concept templates.
• Leading the R&D concept engineers, strategic design, manufacturing and attributes through the feasibility development process in the applicable phases.
• Securing geometrically integrated, feasible vehicle concepts meeting all complete vehicle prerequisites.
• Continues concept and geometric integration development through the shared technology phases.
Profile and Background
We are looking for a dynamic, adaptive person who enjoys being challenged and is driven to deliver innovative and creative solutions in time. You have a strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and drive issues. We also think you have a creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems. To be successful in this role it is important that you have leadership skills to be able to lead, drive and motivate the concept team and also to be a good team player and work well with other people. In addition, you have the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Cultural awareness, specifically between Europe and Asia is also an important factor to be successful.
You have a background of automotive development. Suitable theoretical background is master of science within mechanical engineering or similar.
