hela Sverige Our Architectural Planning team is a key contributor to the commercial success of Getinge Infection Control. The high-quality detailed drawings and designs produced by this team are in many sales situations considered one of the most important and valuable tools to distinguish our solutions from that of the competitors. The team of five in Getinge is working together with a global team of 15 colleagues sitting locally in our sales organizations.
The position:
The Architectural Planning Manager has daily management responsibilities of the team of planners in Getinge. Further, the position is a key to bring the decentralized resources within architectural planning together in a global virtual team. The overarching objective is to leverage this global team to position the service strategically as an inclusive element to Getinge Infection Control’s solution offering, and thus maximize the business value of the functions services. Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Responsible for budget and follow-up as well as daily management and development of the individual members of the Architectural Planning team
• Ensure the Architecture team consistently develops customized solution designs of high quality
• Execute own customer design projects
• Have the optimal set of tools applied both locally and internationally
• Build on global presence of architecture resources to establish a strong sense of team spirit and cooperation
• Ensure competencies are strengthened within own local team as well as throughout global virtual team
• Identify best practices among the decentralized teams and implement these globally with appropriate tools and training
• Identify opportunities within architectural planning to expand range of services and business value
• Plan for adequate resources and competencies to ensure high level of quality in services rendered
• Keep abreast of product development within Getinge Infection Control and ensure relevant symbols are developed and distributed in due time
• Ensure global customer access to relevant symbols via digital Architectural Portal
Travel is estimated to 25-30%.
The ideal candidate:
As ideal for the position you have at least ten years of experience of architectural drawings in combination with a University degree in Architectural/Interior/Industrial Design. You have a commercial background and a good understanding of the industry. In addition to this, you have good management experience, preferably from virtual teams in an international environment.

• Knowledge of BIM/Revit
• Natural leader that easily creates followership
• Excellent writing and presentation skills in English.
• Strong relationship and project management skills

• Strong cross-team player with a collaborative approach towards all parts of the organization, as well as customers and partners.
• Strong team management skills with focus on leveraging resources/competencies to maximize business impact and value of Architectural Services.
