Our success requires smart IT solutions due to all the digitization taking place. As a result, the IT department will be an important player in this change process. We are now looking for a senior Architect within Firewall, Proxy and ADC with significant interest in smart infrastructure solutions and agile working methods.
Your tasks
You will have global responsibility for services and components within the Network Security product area and will drive the development and implementation of technical roadmaps and quality of delivery for those services. In this work you will be supported by a team of Network Technicians, a Service Owner and a Group Manager.
You will be placed in a challenging environment with opportunities for development within leadership and technology.
You work amongst other will cover:
Act as technical lead for developing and maintaining the services within the area
Interact with other technical lead engineers interfacing the network area
Take part in design and implementation projects
Secure quality of services and deliveries
Work close to the customer understanding their needs and how it fits in our IT landscape
Incident management support as third line technical specialist
You will have a global technical responsibility which means interacting with other countries where Scania has big presence
Take part in VW group initiatives and cooperation as Scania's technical lead within the area
Your profile
You have a relevant academic education or equivalent work experience in the area of work
You are structured, customer oriented with good communication skills, proactive, take initiative and ownership, and have the drive to move our services forward
You have a deep knowledge and interest in Network Security product architecture and technology
You feel comfortable working closely with developers/technicians and learning from each other
