We currently have the following job opening;
Architect, Concept and Function Engineering Chassi steering system
The Chassi & Safety Electronics unit at CEVT is responsible for the development of steering system, wheel suspension, brakes and Safety Electronics. The Steering System Module Team is responsible for the development of steering gear, steering column, ESCL, floor seal and heatshield.
The roles require and offers leadership of technology with the main focus on;
• Develop functions and concepts x-functional including mechanics and software from start to production including testing in cooperation with suppliers.
• Develop and support the vehicle architecture with prior on steering gear and steering column within the Chassi domain (wheel-to-wheel).
• Secure safety from the end user perspective.
• Lead pre-studies and secure architectural updated and maintenance when needed
• Support the project development team both on software and mechanics from concept to launch.
• Support the defined release routines and release plans when needed
Profile and Background
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechatronic eng., electrical eng. or similar.
• Documented experience of Safety work ( e.g. ISO 26262 and/or FTA-work )
• Experience from working with requirement flow via systems like System Weaver, Elektra, DOORS.
• Experience of Unified Modeling Language software engineering via tools like Rhapsody
• Experience of project leading and concept development according to "V-model"
• Relevant experience of chassis development- vehicle dynamics, brakes, steering and ADAS
• Ability to work independently and work in cross functional teams
• Ability to drive work towards suppliers
• Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing)
• Driver License Type B
• Positive attitude and interested in finding solutions together with other people/teams
• Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures
