Applications Engineering Manager for Europe to Infineon, Stockholm

You will be part of Infineon's Infineon's RF Power team responsible for development of high power solutions - RF Power Amplifier transistors and circuits. We provide customized solutions for all major equipment manufacturers for both Cellular and Non-Cellular Applications, in LDMOS, GaN and SiGe for a wide range of frequencies - 400MHz to 100GHz.
Job Description
In this role you will lead a team of highly motivated engineers to support Key customers with cutting-edge technical solutions (including project coordination) for design wins. You will be part of the team to define product and technology roadmaps. You and your team will be responsible for:
• Management of the European team of RF Power application engineers
• Personal development
• Project assignments
• Assess opportunities and prioritize engineering resources
• Drive strategic projects to design win with active project management
• Create and implement a vision/strategy for growth of the business in partnership with Marketing and R&D
• Lead a team of engineers to achieve the vision& goals
• Develop understanding of markets, applications, systems and products
• Provide input for product/technical requirements from customers and markets to Product Marketing and R&D
• Support definition of product and technology roadmaps
• Prepare and present technical and marketing presentations to customers
• Guide the development of application notes, white paper and technical documentation in support of optimizing product positioning in the market.
You are best equipped for this job if you have the following profile:

• 5+ years' experience with managing projects to achieve targeted goals on time
• 5+ years' experience with leading cross functional teams of engineers to successfully deliver on targeted goals. Experience with leading distributed teams is highly desired
• 10+ years' experience of Design and development of High Power RF Amplifiers, Power amplifiers architectures, PCB layout, prototyping, troubleshooting and verification.
• A good understanding of Wireless infrastructure market, is a MUST; with additional familiarity on RADAR-Avionic, Military, Broadcast, and non-commercial markets, being a plus.
• Strong experience with amplifier design using Si LDMOS in particular is required. Experience with GaN is highly desirable.
• Detail oriented, excellent collaboration and project managerial skills are required, as you will regularly interact with executives and/or major customers/employees.
• MS in Electrical Engineering; PhD. desired
• Simulation Tools - ADS and/or MWO
• Excellent Technical Communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)
• Self-starter and able to handle significant amount of travel
• Proven ability to gain respect and trust with the customer
