Application Usage Expert - MAC to Scania IT
The group .Net Development Gamma within Scania IT is, among other things, responsible for delivery of applications within the area of Sales and Services. The development team is working close to the customer with the MAC-application and has a responsibility to develop, maintain and rolling out the application to new markets.
Your role
You will be working as an application expert for the system MAC (Maintenance Agreement Central services). You will also be a part of the maintenance team for the application and get involved in activities below:
• participate as an application expert in feasibility studies, implementation and development projects
• work with help desk (2nd level support) and user questions
• participate in the work to find solutions that meet business and customer requirements and results in an effective and well working system
• participate in the delivery of solutions for functions in the application in cooperation with customers and business departments
• testing of new functionalities
• work with and coordinate the IT functional specifications and documentation of the application
Your profile
You have an university degree in System Development or equivalent experience from work within the area. You will be working at the intersection of business and IT, which requires that you understand and can handle both these areas. You will also have direct contact with end-customers worldwide.
You have:
• experience with IS / IT work, ability to support, maintain and develop the application
• experience of working in an international environment
• experience of working with integrated and complex systems is an advantage
• experience of working with system analysis and design is an advantage
We are looking for a service-minded, proactive and flexible person who has the ability to prioritize. It is important that you have good communication skills and easily can understand our customer needs and requirements
You are positive, focused and committed. You should also have the ability to cooperate in a complex IS / IT environment. You will enjoy working in this role if you like to have many points of contact, working with various tasks, are curious and want to continue to develop in a good environment with nice colleagues.
You will need to be proficient in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
