Transformation Onboard Experience is responsible for the digital development onboard the Stena Line vessels. The team is delivering innovative commercial experiences through one of Stena Line's biggest revenue streams, in the core business application Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central. Our customers consist of both users onboard as well as end customers visiting the onboard shops and restaurants, or one of our newly introduced self-service sales locations. The skilled team ashore combines system expertise and technology with onboard experience, and now we're looking for our next colleague!
What will you do?
As Application Specialist you are part of the cross functional development team which is responsible for developing and delivering the Dynamics NAV/ 365 Business Central and LS Retail application, according to its roadmap and prioritized product backlog. In collaboration with the scrum team which consists of software developers, application consultants and architects you plan, design, develop, test and maintain the NAV/LS application in accordance with established processes. You are also encouraged to analyze Stena Line's business processes and recommend ways to improve or re-engineer for maximum business value.
Other responsibilities:
• Configure, enhance and maintain the Dynamics NAV/ 365 Business Central and LS Retail application
• Design and develop high-level solutions to meet business requirements
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Support developers and architects in packaging and deploying new releases
• Participate in sprint meetings together with the scrum team
• Occasionally travel with vessels to deploy, train and support onboard teams with regards to releases and enhancements
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the functionality and maintenance of the NAV/LS application
• Support new initiatives within the Onboard experience organization
Who are you?

For the role as Application Specialist we are looking for someone with an innovative mindset, willing to challenge status quo, and who quickly adapts to new conditions. You are engaged, know how to collaborate to achieve a common goal and enjoy cross functional teamwork. You have experience from customizing Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central and LS Retail or similar POS systems and it's even better if you also have experience in ERP or POS software development. You are driven by delivering value to the business and to create results. We expect you to be a team player and that you have a passion for sharing your knowledge and your work with the team. You are an agile believer, motivated and positive.
The must-have's:
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or similar
• Experience in setting up or implementing ERP/POS systems or modules
• Experience in Dynamics NAV/ 365 Business Central
• Experience in LS Retail software is a plus
• Previous operational experience in the retail industry in a technology or consulting capacity is meritorious
• Fluent in English
