We are recruiting an Application Specialist - Automation for Getinge Sterilization AB, which is part of Getinge group, center of excellence for sterilization. We develop and manufacture units sold worldwide for the healthcare sector. Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and you will be a key player when it comes to integrating with internal and external stakeholders such as sales regions and supply chain, life science teams, global key accounts, partners and third party suppliers. The Position
In this position you will be responsible for providing Life Science Application Support to the Sales Regions and assist in business development for automation applications.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
Provide application specialist support to the Sales Regions
Guide and help the Sales Regions in URS reviews
Generate quotations to SSUs as well as technical supporting documents with support from Supply Chain engineering or by 3rd party suppliers
Promote integrated margin approach to safeguard the business
Risk management in projects by compiling technical and commercial risks on an integrated level.
Actively supporting the pipeline management in CRM database (Salesforce.com)
Work closely with the factories and 3rd party suppliers to ensure proper technical proposals, pricing, and facilitate effective projects
Responsible for clarifying Customer demands and project scope
Travel to customer meeting to support sales staff, project needs, and business goals
Develop and maintain harmonized processes and formats for the sales support deliverables
Work in conjunction with business development to achieve best approach of system deliverables
Channel market information and knowledge back to LS Business Development team
The position is located at our manufacturing site in Getinge or Växjö. The role requires occasional international travel, approximately upto 40 %. You will be reporting to the Senior Director Life Science Application Support.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for you to have the following experience:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Previous background and experience in technical sales support and/or project management
Good understanding of automated processes including mechanical, electrical and control system needs
Computer literacy including MS Office, CRM and CAD
Experience in the Life Science Business and/or knowledge and experience in Biopharma, Biomed and Lab is a plus
Successful interactions with customers, sales teams and supply chain is considered a merit
Experience from international business environments is a plus
Knowledge of robotics and automation is an advantage
Fluency in English and Swedish
