We are looking for an engaged application manager to own our application portfolio management as well as our software asset management. The role includes
• Ownership of the application portfolio governance model
• Keeping track on application TCO, effectiveness, future maintenance needs etc.
• Setting up a SAM framework and watching over our application licenses
A key to success in this role is to establish and uphold good co-operation with important stakeholders like system owners, tech department heads as well as system specialists.
As the application manager you gather and handle business value scoring, costs, operational risks and licensing. This in turn gives us improved control with better management decisions as well as clearer prioritizations and improved cost level.
This is part of the role
As Application manager you will handle application portfolio management and software asset management. You will report to Head of Business systems.
Being responsible for continuously collecting and structuring important data about our applications demands high degree of responsibility, good communication skills and good cooperation with colleagues from many parts of the company. With your experience from application governance as well as from different licensing models you will have reoccurring meetings with system owners, managers and specialists ending up in an updated portfolio, proactive activities and good priorities.
Driving licensing discussions are natural for you and you always seek to optimize the license usage by finding new smart licensing models in collaboration with system specialists.

You have an IT background with solid application and IT environment knowledge. You like to communicate and you have a true interest in building relations. You are committed as a person so a high tempo is something that suits you very well. With precision as a mantra in your daily work and a love for quality, you continuously strive for keeping our application portfolio in a great shape. Finding application consolidation possibilities and license optimization situations is something that you consider as a fun challenge.
Language skills in both Swedish and English are mandatory.
