hela Sverige On behalf of one of our long term customers we are now searching for an application engineer to be based in their office in Stockholm (Sköndal).
We are offering a varied and exciting job with a steep learning curve in an international environment. There are very good opportunities for the right person to get an international career in other locations like the US, Canada and the UK.
Your main responsibility will be the selection and handling of technical documentation for advanced products to satisfy customer application requirements. Main duties include but are not limited to: technical support for customers and manufacturing, preparation of technical support documents, support for sales and product management.
You will also spend time analyzing customer data to build proactive strategies and reporting systems. If all goes well you will quickly advance to managing your own customer contracts, to plan and execute support activities.
This is a great starting position for a young engineer since it is a very good lead into more technically advanced projects but also into technical sales. Yet this might also be a challenge for a more experienced hand that wants to shift to another field.
Requirements
Engineering Degree Bachelor or Master
Fluent in written and spoken English and French
Proficient in one or more of the following languages: Italian and Arabic.
Very service orientated and with good ability to communicate with customers
A proven ability to learn and a will to move forward.
General technical ability and personality is the most important factor for us and you will be given an extensive training in areas that you do not master but it is a great bonus if you have:
Previous technical support or sales experience
Knowledge or interest in power generation, transmission & distribution
A degree in electrical engineering, energy systems or other industry experience
A long term wish to learn Swedish.
