We are now looking for our new Application Engineer!
Job description:
The Application Engineer Treatment actively supports the sales process, providing reliable solutions for all technical and administrative issues to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
Essential Duties:
• Technical support and application engineering within the Treatment business area.
• Training of EEX staff and EEX partners within the treatment technologies Xylem offers.
• Technical support to EEX partners, customers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Developing technical solutions and offers for large projects and taking part in the sales process together with area sales managers and business development managers.
• Customer visits to discuss Xylem products and applications, conducting training and seminars.
• Specializing within the selected area, but should be able to work with all Xylem products and applications.
• Responsible for own competence level and skills development, in co-operation with next level manager.
Required Qualifications:
• University degree in relevant technical subjects.
• Proficiency in English. Other languages are a plus.
• Knowledgeable in water transport and treatment business.

• Good co-operation and communication skills
• Good educator.
• Trustworthy personality.
Travel requirement:
• Travelling will be required - estimated 30 day/year with trips, ranging from 3days up to a week in length.
