Position description:
As a Visualisation expert at Digital Analysis and Visualisation team (DAV), you will be a part of a skilled visualisation team and working primarily in the design phases.
Your responsibility will be to deliver digital review material very close to photo realism.
You will be responsible of simulations of Illumination in our vehicle programs.
You will also be responsible for our Operational Development within Simulation and VR.
You will work cross-functional to support Perceived Quality with visualisation of their issues as well as taking part in teams working with method development.
It is important that you have the understanding of different material and light behaviour in order to be able to simulate different vehicle interiors including illumination and adjust our simulation methods according to correlation studies that will be done using our physical cars.
We think you have experience from the automotive industry where you have worked with visualisations and that you have a curiosity for new technologies within the field. You could also have worked within the gaming industry or similar, with documented experience of creating photo realistic scenes in different lighting.
You like to work in teams and you have a good eye and good communication skills.
Main responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating photo realistic visualisation material in our vehicle programs * Responsible for simulate illumination in the interior within our vehicle programs.
• Develop state of the art Simulation and Visualisation methods
• Provide technical expertise about Simulation and Visualisation within the team.
• Monitor and evaluate tool development (Software & VR hardware). Follow the progress of cutting edge technologies within Simulation (SPEOS) and VR.
• Work cross functional within and outside the department in development of new tools, methods and processes. Qualifications We are looking for highly autonomous individuals with a professional track record from visualization.
Experience of the following tools are meriting:
• Autodesk VRED
• DeltaGen
• Optis SPEOS
• CATIA V5
• Teamcenter
• Python
• Digital Fusion, After effects
Other qualities:
• Technical University or equivalent working experience from Automotive Industry is a plus
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• At least 5 years work experience in product visualisation, in automotive is a plus
• Very good lighting knowledge
• Great look and feel for digital materials
• Very motivated, confident and proactive
• Good communication and argumentation skills
• A true self starter and a character of initiatives
• Good analytical skills
• Great willingness to cooperate as part of a team
• Driver 's license (B or equivalent) Interviews will be held from W33
