hela Sverige Currently Volvo IT needs to strengthen the team of skilled personnel with focus on integration and industrial IT solutions. Integration Delivery Center (IDC) is a global functional team within Volvo IT with responsibility for all integration deliveries for entire Volvo Group. IDC is currently expanding heavily; therefore we are looking for Senior Developers that can work with Integration Development and grow into the Integration Architect role.
As an Application Developer within WebSphere Message Broker you will work closely with our Integration Architects taking the high level design and creating the documentation as well as the actual implementation and unit testing. Volvo IT IDC is a global team and the job involves a high degree of international contacts both with global customers as well as with IDC team members.
You will work in a global team where the core competence is integration. There is high focus on re-usability both in methods, tools, processes, competence as well as in the actual integrations.
You should have an interest in growing into an Integration Architect. You will participate in a, for IDC dedicated, integration architect program together with other senior IDC developers to achieve architectural competence. The program will be run during approximately 5 months with monthly two day course events.
As Application Developer within WebSphere Message Broker you will be responsible for:
• Taking hand over from the Integration Architect of the requirements of the Integration
• Creating or Finalizing the Integration Documentation according to governance and best practice
• Build and Unit test the integration Solution
• Scope Control, Quality and Progress of your delivery
• Making Professional hand-overs to maintenance organization
• Use of and adding to IDC joint intellectual capital
Qualifications and skills:
• University degree or equivalent
• Excellent Communication skills
• Proven programming skills including Java
• Test Drive Design
• Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Proven leadership skills with considerable social competence
Experience preferable:
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience within integration area
• International experience will be considered an advantage
• Experience with Message Oriented Middleware, WebSphere Message Broker is preferred
• Architectural experiences is beneficial
