We are looking for you, with product development experience from the American market within the field of fermentation and probiotics, to work as an Application Associate in our Product Development & Application team in Lund, Sweden.
In the role you will focus on work with a wide variety of projects and tasks within the field of probiotic application, both in the Consumer Health Care and Functional Food area. To thrive and fit into the fast-moving world and tempo, the role requires the ability and willingness to work in a prestigeless way with a variety of tasks in the exciting fields of product development and laboratory environment. Your daily work will consist of a challenging mix of both theoretical and laborative working tasks. In detail your main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the application part in various types of projects and working tasks, both internal and external.
Manage both internal (R&D, Operations and Marketing & Sales) and external contacts (suppliers and customers).
Plan, perform, evaluate and document various product development lab-scale trials within the application area.
Evaluation of new ingredients and formulations
Plan, perform, and evaluate fermentation trials
Your profile
We believe you to have a Master of Science degree in food technology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical science, or equivalent.
You have work experience, from the US market, within the areas of product development, fermentation and probiotics.
We believe you are a creative team player with a great attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, we value your innovative and problem-solving mindset as well as your ability to act flexible to meet various demands and priorities. Moreover, you have excellent communication skills in English, spoken as well as written.
