Who you are
About the jobApplication Management supports and manages the business applications for Alfa Laval world-wide from our three regional hubs located in US, India and Sweden. The Application Analyst will:
Perform regular support, maintenance and administration of applications to meet business objectives and requirements.
Provide prompt, efficient support and problem analysis, and Identify problem areas and report them
Assist with integration of new services and applications as well as their phase-out at end of life.
You complement these activities with a desire to create support documentation, enjoy sharing your knowledge with team members and also identifying as well as implementing improvement opportunities.
You will be working closely together with Customers and Suppliers and with several departments such as Infrastructure, Service Desk, Service Development, Service Management and CIO Office.

What you knowWe are convinced you have knowledge of business applications support and maintenance, broad technical knowledge, a university degree, and at least 4 years' relevant experience preferably from an international company.
You may have gained your experience from similar roles or perhaps as a consultant in different global companies. Today perhaps you have a role as part of a service desk or in the field within infrastructure but you have a desire to deepen your application responsibilities.
In addition, you have:
4+ years of relevant IT service delivery and business applications support experience such as sales systems and document workflow handling systems
Practical experience working with ITIL, primarily Incident and Problem Management
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Effective communication and presentation skills
