Job Description
Application Packaging Engineer :
• Wise, Install shield and AppV sequencer.
Clinical Architecture is a leading Healthcare IT solutions provider. Through our comprehensive suite of products and solutions, we help customers across the healthcare vertical utilize disparate information for analytics, clinical decision support and interoperability. Our mission is to help evolve healthcare with a focus on the quality and usability of clinical information.
• We are currently looking for an InstallShield Application Packaging Engineer. This position will be responsible for modifying and or upgrading existing MSI/EXE InstallShield packages, along with the development of new packages.
• Rework/upgrade/enhance existing installation packages
• Design new installation packages
• Develop/maintain InstallShield custom actions in C#
• Develop/maintain SQL script updates
• Apply testing techniques and perform quality assurance processes to verify software installation packages work as designed
• Work, research, troubleshoot and analyze problems independently
• Prepare documentation for application packages
Required Skills & Competencies
• InstallShield application configuration and deployment experience
• C# programming experience
• Relational databases and some proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with IIS and web protocols (http, https).
• Windows Server familiarity
• Knowledge of interaction between operating System and application package
• Microsoft best practices for application packaging and configurations
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Self-starter that can work independently but also enjoys a team atmosphere
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a highly technical environment with a broad set of skills and experience
• College or University degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
