Your mission
In this position, you lead, advise and oversee the ABC compliance program. You maintain updated information and advice on regulatory and legal requirements in respect of ABC compliance - particularly those relating to third parties such as agents and distributors. Developing and providing training tools, templates and processes to manage ABC compliance risk and share best practices is also part of your role.
Included in your job is to:
Ensure adherence to The Sandvik Way, applicable legislation and established policies and procedures.
Safeguard compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
Work with business on mitigating compliance risks.

In this role, you report to the Vice President and Head of Group Compliance. The location for this position is flexible, but it's preferred that you're located at our headquarters at the World Trade Center in Stockholm. Some international travel is part of your job.
Your profile
We're looking for an experienced lawyer, or someone with a degree in law, finance, business management or related field. You have extensive experience in a legal or compliance role - preferably within an engineering- or other global company that deals with higher risk territories, transactions and third parties from an ABC perspective. Previous experience of internal control, as well as project- and risk management is essential. Since we operate in a global environment, you're able to communicate fluently in English.
You're an experienced, inspiring and inclusive leader who enjoys taking ownership. With your hands-on approach, you're self-motivated and able to drive things forward to complete tasks.
