The Arena:
The department Inhalation Product Development in Gothenburg develops devices, formulations and analytical methods for both small molecule and biological drugs within the respiratory therapy area.
The role:
AstraZeneca is looking for 1-2 analytical chemist/s who can work together with the team and support the projects. You will determine concentrations and purity and characterize stability of the formulated product. You will be collaborating with other analytical chemists and formulation scientists in project teams to drive the projects and technologies forward.
Minimum requirements:
MSc or equivalent in chemistry, preferably analytical chemistry, or Biotechnology. Good knowledge in written and spoken English is necessary as well as laboratory experience including working with computerized systems.
Preferred experience and key factors:
Experience of working with for example chromatographic (HLPC, UPLC) or spectroscopic techniques (UV, MS).
You should be well organized, analytical, flexible and accurate. Good team working skills together with the ability to operate independently are also important.
