hela Sverige We are looking for a Laboratory Engineer or Analytical Chemist to our laboratory in Perstorp. You will work with activities like general laboratory tasks and activities in the analytical chemistry field, mostly chromatography. The laboratory work origin from projects, from customers and from technical support to other functions of the company. The work also includes documentation, reporting, instrument maintenance and contacts within and outside our department. We think you have an open-mind attitude and a collaborative way of working. You must like to be service-minded and to work in a quality-conscious way
The main responsibility for R&D is to contribute to the innovation process within the Perstorp Group and also to support business in all types of customer relations. As a member of our analytical group you will contribute in research and development activities of our existing and future applications, products and processes.
This is a half year temporary position and you should preferable start beginning or middle of January 2018. The position is located at Perstorp R&D Centre in Perstorp, Skåne.
We are looking for you having
• Experience of gas- and liquid chromatography techniques
• Good practical and instrumental knowledge in analytical chemistry techniques
• Interest and knowledge in organic chemistry.
Your personal characteristics are
• Proven ability to plan, perform and manage task independently
• Team player and customer oriented
• Showing responsibility and getting things done
• Communicative with good reporting skills
• Engaged to network, exhibiting a curiosity and a drive for results.
We believe a Masters level with a major in analytical chemistry is required for the position. The successful applicant has preferably some years of documented experience as an analyst. R&D is a project-oriented organization and familiarity to project driven work and project management is acknowledged. Spoken and written English is required. Swedish is a merit.
