Recipharm OT Chemistry (OTC) in Uppsala is part of the Recipharm Pharmaceutical Development group. We perform contract synthesis and analysis work for small and large pharmaceutical companies within Sweden and abroad. The projects we work with are varied and will require very good analytical and problem solving skills. You will be part of a knowledgeable, diverse and international group in an expanding company.
For the analytical laboratory in Uppsala we are now searching for a motivated analytical chemist. The work will include method development and validation as well as method and instrument troubleshooting. You will be working closely with other analytical and synthetic chemists in your projects, but will be expected to independently perform all project tasks from method development to report writing. Your tasks will vary to include both quantitative and qualitative challenges and will always include laboratory work. The laboratory is equipped with UPLC, HPLC, GC, UV, FL, MS, MS/MS, TOF instruments which you can use in your projects.
Your work will include:
• Development of HPLC-UV, HPLC-MS, HRMS (q-ToF) analytical methods for qualitative and quantitative purposes.
• Analysis of study samples.
• Perform the analytical work with your developed methods and report both internally and to external customers in English and Swedish.
• General laboratory activities
Qualifications:
• Solid experience in quantitative and/or qualitative analytical chemistry with previous experience in academia or the industry.
• Good, practical laboratory skills centred around chromatography.
• Good English and Swedish skills, both verbal and written.
